Strobist DVD set

The waiting is over, my friend David Hobby aka Strobist has put his long awaited DVD’s on the shelf.

The set consists of no less than 8 DVD’s !!!!! The first one is about the basics and equipment. The next 4 cover one of David’s famous seminars, like the one I attended in Paris. The remaining 3 DVD’s show a number of shoots on locations. More info about the DVD

The full set, costs only 139USD + shipping. Even without seeing the DVD’s I dare to say that’s a bargain. There should be a DVD set heading my way, so when I finished the Strobist marathon, I’ll give you a full review.

I’m sure the first batch of 1000 sets will be sold out fast, so don’t hesitate to order your copy.

    Hi Bert,

Just thought you’d like to know…
I chatted with Midwest Photo today & they informed me that any orders placed before the 29th, will qualify for the first batch of shipping.

Unfortunately, they are still processing orders from the 27th. So it may be a few days yet before they process subsequent orders (me: 28th).

    I can’t wait to see these dvd’s! =)

    Chat with you soon.

I received my copy already but only managed to watch 2 discs. Great stuff and I’ll give an extensive review when I’ve seen the all.

Hi Bert, We met us at the Paris strobist Meeting.

I also ordered my copy of the DVD set, and you can imagine my desillusion when I saw that the french border control (douanes) asked me to pay 50€ (yes the half of the price of the DVD set) import taxes! Bastards!

Hop you were luckyer than me

    Cu

I’m sorry to hear that Stefan. That’s indeed a lot of money. Maybe you should tell MPEX and David, maybe they can find a way around it.

Thanks. I’ll tell them. It’s probably because they send the DVD’s with UPS. I never had this problem with USPS
