As a working photographer you have to be able to cope with bad lighting situation. You simply can’t afford to wait for favorable conditions and that’s exactly what started my passion for lighting. It started out of necessity but moved on to an ongoing obsession with bending, altering and creating light. I’m pretty confident that I can create something good in any circumstances as long as I have my bag of lights, stands and modifiers with me. But sometimes I just need to challenge myself to do it with less. A couple of days ago I set out for a short test session with my friend/muse/model Erika on a low light experiment to see how far we could push the limits with just a small camera, some light sensitive lenses and a flashlight.
Thank you Erika to be my willing guinea pig for so many crazy experiments that usually don’t do your talent and beauty justice.
