Let it Glow - Charity Shoot
On the 5th and 6th of June, I’ll be doing some very special shoots for charity. This is a unique event organised by the fantastic folks over at Fujifilm Belgium. I’m one of the four Fujifilm ambassadors who will each do 12 portrait session. Book a shoot and you’ll get some very cool pictures while supporting a good cause.
Here’s my sales pitch:
Everyone deserves to be in the spotlights and there’s an artist hidden in each of us. That’s why I created a unique setup that will make you glow like never before. Together we’ll make a piece of art that blurs the boundaries between intimate reality, fantasy en personality.

Your money goes completely to the vzw Prinses Maxima Centrum Foundation Belgium. This charity has as ultimate goal to cure every child with cancer with optimal quality of life.
Glow
I wanted to do something special, something that is usually only accessible for a model or a close friend. My goal was to come up with a concept that allows you and me to create a piece of art together. It took a lot of experimentation and sleepless nights, but it’s going to be worth it.
During each of the test sessions we did, the person in front of the lens loved the results. Not just because of the rather striking visual effect, but even more so because they felt like they created art together.
What strikes me the most as the photographer is how even the most nervous people, calmed down immediately when the creative process started. Every test shoot was a mix of fun and serenity.
Practical
What if I don’t look good in pictures?
Well, if I had a Euro from everyone who ever said that to me, I could make a very substantial donation to the charity. The thing is: you are wrong. Everyone can look amazing in a picture and everyone looks amazing in this setup.Is this all Corona Proof?
We’ll follow all Covid-protocols and go the extra mile to make the experience completely safe.Can I book a shoot for my kids?
Only if they are 16+ / This restriction is because we want to limit the amount of people on set for several reasons.Do I have to take my clothes off?
We do believe these pictures look best with bare shoulders but we have some nice new big fluffy towels to wrap around you.What’s the location of the shoot?
The amazing Lotte Martens, has kindly agreed to let us use her atelier in Leuven.For how many weeks after the shoot will I glow?
You’ll glow every time you look at the pictures but some water and soap is all that’s needed to get rid of the paint before you leave.What do I do if all the shoots are booked or if I’m not available of 5th or 6th of June?
